ST HELENS town hall was transformed into all things fantasy as comic con made a return.
After a hugely successful inaugural event was held last year, the convention organised, by Wonky Rockets Events, was brought back to the town hall on Saturday for a second hosting.
Ghostbusters' Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was in situ outside the town hall steps as fans descended to Victoria Square for the event dressed as their favourite characters.
Headline guests on the day included former Doctor Who star Colin Baker, with others including Paul Blake, who played Greedo in Star Wars and former Red Dwarf star Hattie Hayridge, who played the female version of Holly in the sitcom.
Farscape star Virginia Hey and Star Trek's Fintan Mckeown were also among guests who were at the town hall.
