WHEN are the council going to address the parking plague around this town?

Some roads are becoming impassible to two way traffic; Rivington Road is a nightmare. Many roads round the town have cars parked along both sides and buses struggle to get through the middle.

These situations cause many a problem between motorists as to whose right of way it is.

On roads such as Kiln Lane and Moss Bank Road, many residents park on the road or pavement while leaving their driveway empty which is pure laziness.

Many people park their vehicles in a thoughtless manner to pedestrians or road users.

It’s only a question of time before there is a serious accident on the bend on Kiln Lane near the allotments with residents parking on the bend forcing traffic to overtake the parked cars on a blind bend.

With some roads almost now at dangerous level, isn’t it about time the council or police acted?
