PLANS to convert part of the ground floor of the former Lounge bar on Bridge Street into a hot food takeaway and a beauty parlour have been passed.
Proposals for the vacant former cabaret bar were submitted to St Helens Council in August.
The application states seven full-time jobs and two part-time roles would be created by the transformation.
Council planners gave the plans approval.
