POLICE were called yesterday evening after youths were seen climbing on to the roof of McDonald's.
The boys were seen making their way up on to the top of the McDonald's restaurant on Church Street.
Officers attended the incident at around 7pm on Tuesday.
Onlookers took to social media to express their shock at the incident.
One wrote: "The utter disregard of not only their safety but other people's is horrifying.
"These are the next generation and it’s extremely worrying!"
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at around 7pm to reports of two or three boys on the roof of McDonald's on Church Street.
"They came down a short time later and made off. No one was injured or arrested."
