ALMOST a year on from the tragic murder of Adam Ellison, his family are inviting residents to attend a memorial service to keep his memory alive.
Adam, 29, was stabbed in the neck with an unknown weapon as he walked home in Prescot on Saturday, November 4.
His killers are yet to be brought to justice.
Adam’s parents, sisters and girlfriend are focusing their attention on celebrating Adam, and are in the process of setting up a charity in his name to support their community who helped them throughout their horrific loss.
The memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 28, the weekend before the first anniversary of Adam’s death, at Prescot Church, from 3pm.
His family said: “We want to remember the beautiful soul he was, take a moment to remember yours and our memories with him, also show those who never got the chance to meet Adam the type of person he was and to put out there he will never be forgotten as we all know - a beautiful soul can never be forgotten.”
ADAM, the charity set up in his name, issued a statement, which read: “The community support has been tremendous especially to Adam’s family. The loss of Adam is still very much felt in their hearts and lives.
“No family should have to grieve the loss of a loved one in the circumstances of how his life was taken, we would love for you to come and show his family love and support.”
