FORMER snooker world champion Cliff Thorburn performed an exhibition at Parr Conservative Club on Saturday night.
The Canadian, who triumphed at the Crucible in 1980, played several frames against locals on the night.
And the evening saw two players, Mark Richardson and Craig Hitchen, beat Cliff on the night.
Cliff, also renowned for hitting the first 147 maximum break at the Crucible in 1983, also performed trick shots for the audience.
