The mayor's dinner from 1959
THIS photograph was taken at St Helens borough mayor Cllr R H Winter’s dinner on January 8, 1959.
Maureen Whittle nee Wall, who lived on Stafford Road, shared the picture with us.
She was the mayor’s secretary at the time, who owned painting and decorating business C A Critchley St Helens on Church Street.
