STREET dancers from an Atherton team are celebrating after their performance in a competition.
Members of SDZ Dance Academy took part in the Street Dance Challenge at Blackpool Sports Centre with two top prizes.
Its under 10s intermediate category group, the Toxic Babes, finished in first place with their Freak dance routine while the adult over 18s was won by the Funky Femmes team with a Janet Jackson-inspired performance.
The Hipnotix team claimed third spot in the under 17s intermediate section.
In the solo dance sections, Lacey Jade Tran finished fourth in the under eights intermediate and Jessica Worthington was placed second in the under eights beginners category.
SDZ Dance Academy founder Alison Jones said: "I'm so proud of all the groups and the individuals who also did well in their solo categories.
"It's been hard work with holidays etc getting the groups together to practice and train but those who did perform have done brilliantly."
