IT was there in flashes from the outset – and it was rewarded with two tries in the second half; Ben Barba looks like he has found his mojo approaching the business end of the season.

His two tries push his tally on the leader board to 26 tries -and he was back, in tandem with Jonny Lomax and the outside backs, to being his unplayable best in attack during the 34-14 win over Warrington.

And after a rocky couple of weeks, off the back of some indifferent team performances, he is back to being the fans favourite again – and he took the adulation from the vocal travelling support at the end of the game.

After the game Barba said: “It was good to score again. It has been a tough couple of weeks or months for myself, but it was a great effort from the boys today.

“They say these games don’t mean anything, but we came here to prove a point.

“We are building. It is important to keep this roll on and keep working hard.

“A lot of people have been writing us off this past couple of weeks with the losses we have had, but we know what is going on inside the walls of our sheds. We will just keep carrying on.”
