POLICE hope the public have dashcam footage that can help them catch a thief who stole a car from outside a house in Eccleston.
Officers are appealing for information following the theft of the car in Eccleston overnight on Monday, September 17.
A report was received that sometime between 10pm and 7am the next day (Tuesday, September 18) a white Ford fiesta was taken from outside a property on Brookside Avenue.
Community Sergeant Neil Birkett said: “I am appealing to anyone who knows the whereabouts of this vehicle, or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Brookside Avenue overnight on Monday, 17 September, to please get in touch.
“You may have dashcam footage or have witnessed the vehicle leaving the area. Any information given to us, no matter how small, will be investigated.”
