A TEENAGE boy sustained cuts and bruises after being "clipped" by a car in the town centre yesterday evening (Thursday).

The 14-year-old boy was in collision with a BMW car on Chalon Way West, near to Cineworld cinema.

Police were called to the incident just after 8pm, which they described as a "slight injury road traffic collision".

A spokeswoman said: "We were called at 8.05pm after a collision between a BMW and a 14-year-old boy. The car clipped him and it was a slight injury road traffic collision.

"The boy sustained cuts and bruises."
