A FUN day in aid of ADAM - the charity set up in memory of murdered Adam Ellison - raised £1,500 by hosting a football match between his family and friends.

Adam, 29, from Prescot, was stabbed in the neck with an unknown weapon as he walked home from in Prescot on Saturday, November 4. His killers are yet to be brought to justice.

His family have focused their attention on celebrating Adam, and are in the process of setting up a charity in his name to support their community who helped them throughout their horrific loss. The fun day at Rainhill Ex-Services Club was held on September 9.

Adam’s eldest sister Nicola Moore, said: “The football match was brilliant and kicked off by my dad, with Adam’s friends winning of course!

“It’s great to have days like this to remember him but seeing his friends there, just makes us realise even more where he should be.

“We love you Adam and we will keep fighting for justice for you and hope that by holding events like this we continue to keep your name out there.”
