FLORAL tributes have been left at the scene of a tragic incident where a man in his 40s died at a car dealership.

Emergency services were called to the T&D garage on Fleet Lane, Parr on Monday, September 10 following a concern for safety of a member of staff.

A report had been received that a man in his 40s had "suffered serious injuries following an incident at work".

Paramedics from North West Ambulance Service attended but the man was found dead at the scene.

As well as the floral tributes, hundreds of well wishers have also paid respect to the man on social media.

George Poole said via Facebook: "What an awful shock for his family and friends very sad rip deepest condolences to his family."

Sharon Lee, added: "Looked after my mum and dad for us, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely stunned to hear this news. I’m so sad for his family. Thanks Chris for all you did for my family"
