Prior notification for the demolition has been submitted
PLANS have been put forward seeking to demolish part of the Holy Spirit Primary School.
A prior notification has been sent to the council for the partial demolition of an infant block.
The plans stated: "A decision was made after considerable consideration that the older section of the building on the site had reached the end of practical use.
"The decision was based on curriculum requirements of the building in tandem with ongoing significant maintenance issues.
"The school has had considerable investment in extending, refurbishment and remodelling the infant block and has now consolidated the pupils in this block".
