MORE than 14,000 packed out Sherdley Park for the annual Reminisce Festival on Saturday.

The one-day festival, which was held for he fifth time, saw more than 140 acts and DJs descend on St Helens from all over the world.

Among the performers were German act Cascada, with their hits singles “Everytime We Touch”, “What Hurts the Most” and “Evacuate the Dancefloor”.

Revellers also enjoyed nostalgic hits and dance classics from Sybil, Alex Gaudino, DJ Lee Butler, Ultrabeat and more.

The day saw artists will perform in the main Reminisce Arena, Clubland Arena, the Love House Arena, Euphorica Arena and The Quadrant in the Park over 30s arena.

There was also a VIP Arena with a private bar and booths.

There will also be a fun fair and food stalls at the event which will run from noon to 11pm.

Organisers hailed the event which has grown year on year.

The one-day celebration of dance music was launched in 2014, when 3,000 people turned up.

The second year saw the capacity double and become a festival.

In 2016, there were 8,000 joining in the fun and last year saw more than 10,000 turn out for the first time.
