MORE than 14,000 dance music fans will be flocking to Sherdley Park this Saturday, September 8 for the Reminisce Festival.

The one-day festival, which is in its fifth year, will host more than 140 acts and DJs from all over the world with German act Cascada, with their hits singles “Everytime We Touch”, “What Hurts the Most” and “Evacuate the Dancefloor”.

Fans can also expect nostalgic hits and dance classics from Sybil, Alex Gaudino, DJ Lee Butler, Ultrabeat and more.

Artists will perform in the main Reminisce Arena, Clubland Arena, the Love House Arena, Euphorica Arena and The Quadrant in the Park over 30s arena.

There is also a VIP Arena with a private bar, booths, phone chargers, free parking and fast track entry.

There will also be a fun fair and food stalls at the event which will run from noon to 11pm.

Event organiser Steve Cocky said: “Since it started five years ago, Reminisce has just grown and its gone from 3,000 to 14,000 which is crazy.

“It’s got really big and it’s a great night, which we proudly still host in St Helens.

“Tickets have already mostly gone, and people need tickets to get in, you cannot buy them on the door on the day so if you want to come along then get booking your tickets before they sell out.”

Reminisce Festival is a non-camping, one-day event celebrating dance music which started in 2014, the second year saw the capacity double and become a festival. 2016 saw 8,000 people join in the fun and last year more than 10,000 music fans descended on to Sherdley Park for a day and night of dance favourites.
