VIOLET-Grace's dad has shared an emotional tribute to his daughter ahead of a 24-hour London to Paris bike ride in her memory.

The four-year-old was killed on March 25 after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Prescot Road.

Despite their grief her parents donated her organs, saving two lives and have since held different events to raise money and awareness for organ donation – including the Ride 4 Violet-Grace.

As well as the events, her dad Glenn Youens, 30, has challenged himself to runs and bike rides in order to raise funds for Violet-Grace’s Gift, a charity set up their daughter's memory and The Isabella-Rose Foundation.

However this ride will be his biggest challenge yet - with them cycling from Big Ben to the Eiffel Tower in 24 hours.

After sharing tributes to Violet from the other 14 riders who have taken on the challenge with him, today Glenn shared his own emotional words to his "beautiful first born daughter"

They will leave Big Ben at 3pm on Saturday, August 11 and arrive at the Eiffel Tower the around 3pm on Sunday, August 12.
