EMERGENCY services were called after a van and a car were involved in a crash on Eccleston Street this morning (Monday).
Police closed the road after attending the scene of the collision at around 11.30am today.
The fire service and ambulance were also called.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said that one woman was hurt in the incident, adding her injuries are "not believed to be serious".
