SAINTS Women will play this Sunday’s Women’s Super League fixture against Bradford Bulls at Ruskin Sports Village.
The match gets underway at 2pm on the site’s new 3G artificial rugby pitch.
St Helens Council’s cabinet member for community based and focused services, Councillor Anthony Burns, said: “It’s a great honour for the council to host Saints Women at the state of the art Ruskin Drive Sports Village which I hope proves to be a lucky charm for the club after the men’s team secured a pre-season win here earlier this year.
“The team has made a decent start to the season having won four of their six games so far – so it would be great to see a good crowd down at Ruskin to cheer them on.”
Entrance is £3 and parking spaces will be available for spectators on the site’s two car parks which combined have spaces for 500 vehicles.
