POLICE are urging parents to be aware of their children's whereabouts in response to reports of anti-social behaviour in Prescot town centre.
Officers say they will be patrolling the area today and this evening (Tuesday) in response to cases of youths causing anti-social behaviour in the vicinity.
A police statement said: "We will continue to take positive action against people committing offences and causing anti-social behaviour in that area.
"Parents please check up on the whereabouts of your children and what they are up to, otherwise you may find yourself coming to a police station to discuss their behaviour. Thanks for your support."
