HUNDREDS joined in the fun at the Willowbrook Hospice Moonlight Walk on Saturday.
Young and old were decked out in bright pink for the annual event that started at the hospice’s Living Well centre on Prescot Road.
Many of the walkers were taking part in memory of loved ones who had been cared for at the hospice and a balloon release took place beforehand as a symbol of remembrance.
On a feel-good night, walkers then set off, with some being showered by rainbow coloured powder paint at the start, creating a dazzling spectacle.
Diane Swann, senior fundraiser at Willowbrook, said: “Every penny raised by our walkers will go towards the £4.5 million that it costs every year to maintain our care services to people across St Helens and Knowsley.”
