A POLICE helicopter was deployed last night, Tuesday, after there was a possible sighting of a wanted man.
Officers called the helicopter around 11pm to help track a man on Enford Drive they believe is a connected to an offence.
Merseyside Police have not revealed the identity of the suspect.
A spokesman said: "As a result of the sighting, officers requested National Police Air Service (NPAS) to assist with the search.
"The man in question was not found and the helicopter left around 11.30pm."
