POLICE stepped up patrols around Queens Park last night in response to anti-social behaviour in the area.
Officers took to social media to post photographs of damage caused to the park.
St Helens Police said: "We have had patrols around Queens Park this evening due to the recent anti-social behaviour caused by youths within our community.
"I think you will agree, this is not acceptable behaviour".
