A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been charged in connection with a string of offences including the theft of a vehicle in a burglary.
James Towey, of Gleave Street, St Helens has been charged with numerous offences which date between January and March.
Towey was arrested on Charnwood Street, Parr on Sunday after a suspected stolen Nissan Qashqai was spotted by police.
Towey is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today (March 6).
He has been charged with: handling stolen goods; three disqualified driving offences; three counts of driving a motor vehicle without insurance; two counts of making off without payment for fuel and one unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.
