A MAN accused of breaking into a property on Christmas Day armed with a golf club and attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm has appeared in court.
Tomas Janionis, 28, of Oak Avenue, is charged with aggravated burglary of a dwelling and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Janionis is accused of entering a property on Wellington Gardens, Newton-le-Willows and attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm while armed with a golf club.
Appearing at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (February 7), Janionis was granted conditional bail ahead of his next appearance before Liverpool Crown Court scheduled for Wednesday, March 7.
