A MAN convicted of four counts of sexual assault and an indecent exposure has been given a suspended sentence.
James Anthony Ashall, 35, of Alfred Street, St Helens, was sentenced at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Monday (February 5).
Ashall was convicted on January 4 of four charges of intentionally touching a woman without consent and deliberately exposing himself.
All charges related to August 13, 2017.
He was given a prison sentence of 26 weeks, suspended for 24 months and two restraining orders.
Ashall also has to undergo 100 hours of unpaid work and undertake rehabilitation activity.
The 35-year-old was also ordered to pay £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service, two lots of £100 compensation and a £115 surcharge.
Ashall must also sign the Sex Offenders Register for seven years.
