A MAN has been arrested after police received reports of an attempted theft of alcohol from Marks & Spencer on Church Street yesterday afternoon.
Officers were called at around 3.15pm to an allegation of attempted theft at the department store.
Security staff at the store detained a man.
A man in his 40s was arrested by police in connection with the incident.
He has been taken to custody for questioning.
