A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has been fined after causing more than £350 worth of damage to a bus shelter.
The youth smashed a Merseytravel bus shelter on Marshalls Cross Road on September 17 last year, causing £366.34 of damage.
The youth, from Eccleston, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Youth Court on Thursday, January 11 after changing his plea.
The court ordered for a £180 compensation charge to be paid as well as £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service, with a collection order made. The boy's parent or guardian will pay the fine.
His guilty plea was taken into account as sentence was imposed.
