THE man accused of murdering 54-year-old Tommy Grace in Prescot is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday (January 9).
Dale Murray, 31, of no fixed address was charged with murder following the fatal stabbing in Beaconsfield, Prescot on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
He has been remanded in custody since an initial court appearance on Monday, October 16.
Mr Grace was rushed by ambulance to hospital after being found with a serious stab wound and was declared dead shortly afterwards.
A family statement described Mr Grace, known as 'Tommy', as "beautiful, kind and gentle".
Murray, who is yet to issue a plea, was due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, January 3.
The hearing has been relisted until this Tuesday (January 9).
