THIS week we take a trip back to 2001, when Saints unveiling a crop of signings for the campaign including fresh-faced hooker Micky Higham, who last week decided to hang up his boots following 19 seasons as a player.
Micky, who went to play for the likes of Wigan and Warrington before later rejoining his hometown club Leigh, was joined by Wayne McDonald and Australian pair David Fairleigh and Peter Shiels.
