THE stepdaughter of missing man has made an emotional plea for him to come home, pleading: “the kids are heartbroken without you, just come home we all love you so much.”

Paul King, 50, originally from the Durham area went missing on Sunday, October 29 in Blackpool and was last seen on Adelaide Street in that area.

However, his phone signal was last picked up in St Helens.

The granddad-of-two is a white, of medium build with short grey hair and has been described as the “heart of the family”.

He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved polo shirt, dark blue jeans, black hooded jacket and grey suede trainers.

Stepdaughter Ashley Crosby, 33 said: “His mobile phone data was last picked up in St Helens, though we don’t think he has any connection to the area.

“Someone has said they saw him near Barclays bank in the town centre there, so if anyone sees him just let us know.

“He has two grandkids who are missing him and worrying about him and who he loves so much. 

“He has a history of depression and alcohol problems, but he is very much the heart of the family.

“If you are reading this please just come home or let us know you’re okay and are just having some time.

“The kids are heartbroken without you.”

Paul has been described by his family as very sociable and a “lovely and kind man”.
