HUNDREDS of people turned out in the August sunshine to enjoy Newton Town Show today with a jam-packed programme of fun for all the family.

The event is being held at Mesnes Park until 5pm today, Saturday, August 4.
Entertainment includes a motorbike display team, ferret racing, acoustic music from the Davies Sisters, Morris dancing and thrilling helicopter tours of the town, alongside food and craft stalls and fun fair amusements, and the traditional tug o’ war.
