WELL done Cherry and the other members of Diabetes UK for highlighting the cuts in sugar to Lucozade drinks.
As a fellow type 1 diabetic, I totally support them in asking for the labels to be clearer, and identified as having less sugar.
The new packaging is no different to the old. For a diabetic this means we have to consume twice as much Lucozade to treat a hypo.
And when you’re feeling nauseous, dizzy and confused, you really don’t want to have to drink half a bottle!
Plus, there are still some of the old bottles in circulation, so this makes it even more difficult and confusing.
