Mr Mitchell was found dead on Thursday, May 25
THE man whose body was found near Matalan in St Helens on Thursday has been named as Paul Mitchell.
An inquest has been opened into the 47-year-old's death and a hearing is expected to take place at a later date once medical tests have been completed.
Mr Mitchell, from the town centre, was found on Watts Clift Way on Thursday, May 25 after the North West Ambulance Service contacted police at 10.55am.
