A 17-YEAR-OLD Irish dancer is appealing for help as she attempts to win a prestigious dancing scholarship.
Megan Ramsay, from Eccleston, is one of 15 dancers shortlisted to win the scholarship to the Fusion Fighter Dance Fest in Limerick this August.
The Rainford Sixth Form pupil trains at the Loughran School of Irish dancing in West Derby and is also due to take part in the World Irish Dancing Championships next month.
She needs as many people as possible to watch the video on the Fusion Fighters Dance Fest page, as the dancer’s clip with the most views will win the scholarship.
Her mum, Angela, 47 said: “Megan lives and breathes Irish dancing and it would mean the world to her to win.
“This is an experience she will not only remember forever but could help her learn new dance skills.”
The nine-day festival offers dancers a chance to learn different styles and perform with international choreographers and instructors.
