MARCUS Wight shared this week’s Down memory lane image.
It is a photo of Peasley Cross Lane in the 1950s and the land the ladies are sat on is where the Saints stadium is now located.
Marcus writes: “The short street behind the three ladies is Manor Street, with Mrs Fitzpatrick’s shop on the corner.
“The street is still there in the midst of the industrial buildings.
“The lady on the left is Mrs Sefton, the lady in the middle is her daughter Molly and the lady on the right I believe is their friend Mrs Appleton.”
