A MAN charged in connection with a stabbing in Eccleston has pleaded not guilty.
Michael Hodkinson, 20, from Brynn Street, St Helens appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from HMP Altcourse, for his plea and trial preparation hearing.
Hodkinson was charged in October with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after an incident near Brooklands Road, Eccleston, on October 28, which left a 20-year-old man seriously wounded.
Hodkinson will appear in court for trial after Easter next year.
