A MAN was left with serious injuries and kidney damage after being struck by a vehicle in Prescot.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the road traffic collision which left the 22 year-old man with serious injuries.
He suffered a broken wrist, kidney damage and cuts and grazing to his legs, back and arms.
The vehicle, which has not been further described, left the area.
The incident took place between 1am and 4am on Sunday, July 17 on Cross Lane close to the junction with Florida Way in Prescot when the man was struck.
Officers from Merseyside Police’s Roads Policing Unit are now appealing for anyone who was in the area of Florida Way at the time and may have seen anything or has any information to call the MSOC Roads Policing team on 0151 777 5747 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
