VIEW a horse pulling a dray of ale before getting a new pair of shoes fitted as part of celebrations for International Blacksmith’s Day at the Smithy in Eccleston.
Puzzle The Horse will bring barrels of beer from George Wright’s Brewery to the event which takes place on Saturday, May 21.
There will also be blacksmithing, wheel-writing and other craft demonstrations from noon to 5pm on the day, which will be a celebration for the whole family at the Kiln Lane venue.
It will be open late with a range of real ales and ciders on offer until 10pm. Refreshments will include a hog roast, snacks, cafes, soft drinks and traditional games.
Admission is free and visitors are asked to note parking is limited.
