ANNE Slater sent me this wonderful old photo of children waiting to watch the soldiers march past outside Rainhill School, now the Millennium Centre, in 1914.
You can see St Ann's Church in the background. The photographer who made this into a postcard wrote the word 'mobilized' on it.
