A POP-UP cafe in which visitors can enjoy live performances while having a bite to eat was launched in town on Wednesday.
Food meets art at The Hunt and Darton cafe, which will be open on Church Square until Saturday, November 21 as part of the Take Over Fest project.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of food and drinks from the menu at the venue while being treated to live entertainment from artistic duo Hunt and Darton.
The project encourages playful participation and meaningful social encounters.
Creative duo Jenny Hunt and Holly Darton have visited several locations around the country over the past two years.
"You can have a performance at your table or just sit down and have a brew," said Scottee, the brains behind the Take Over Fest, developed by the Heart of Glass.
"It's a place that can be anything you want it to be for a bit of fun.
"The people of St Helens are great and have been questioning about what's going on in the Take Over Fest. They have really embraced it and of course I'm confident people will love the cafe over the next three weeks."
