Fire crews used ropes to free the man who was taken to Aintree Hospital
A MAN suffered head injuries after part of a tree fell on him in an industrial estate on Lancots Lane in Sutton.
Emergency Services were called just before 10.30am this morning. Two fire crews from St Helens and Eccleston along with the search and rescue team attended and used ropes to free the man who was taken to Aintree Hospital.
At this time the extent of his injuries is not known but he is not thought to be in a serious condition.
