DO you recognise this man? Police want to speak to him in connection the theft of a hoard of cigarettes from a store.
Shortly before 11am on Tuesday, February 6 a customer was loading his shopping into his car outside the cash and carry on Kilbuck Lane, Haydock when a large amount of cigarettes were snatched from his trolley.
One of the offender's is described as a man, 5ft 6 - 5ft 10ins tall with a slight to medium build. He was wearing light-coloured combat trousers and a bomber jacket.
He put the cigarettes into a Peugeot car driven by a second man.
Police are keen to trace the man pictured in the CCTV image as it is thought he may have information which may help them with their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises the man, and anyone with any information about the theft is asked to contact the CCTV Unit at St Helens Police Station on 0151 777 6087 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number 10043.
