DO you recognise this man? Police want to speak to him in connection the theft of a hoard of cigarettes from a store.

Shortly before 11am on Tuesday, February 6 a customer was loading his shopping into his car outside the cash and carry on Kilbuck Lane, Haydock when a large amount of cigarettes were snatched from his trolley.

One of the offender's is described as a man, 5ft 6 - 5ft 10ins tall with a slight to medium build. He was wearing light-coloured combat trousers and a bomber jacket.

He put the cigarettes into a Peugeot car driven by a second man.

Police are keen to trace the man pictured in the CCTV image as it is thought he may have information which may help them with their enquiries.
