A BIG fun day is being held in aid of two children's charities.
Both run from St Helens Deafness Resource Centre in Dentons Green, Happy Hands provides support for deaf children and children with communication difficulties, and Jenson's Twinkle Stars helps children come to terms with the bereavement of a loved one.
On the day, there will be bouncy castles, sumo wrestling, gladiator duels, reptiles, fire brigade, clown, dancers, donkey rides, singers and stalls.
A balloon race will be held with fantastic prizes ranging from a signed Everton player's photo, Gulliver's World tickets, Sandcastle tickets and Legoland tickets.
The event will be held at Ruskin Drive from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, August 23. Entry costs £1 for adults.
