WITH attractions ranging from inflatable slides and a Punch and Judy show to ferret racing and the George Formby Society, this year's Newton Town Show catered for all ages and tastes.
There were over 60 stalls with a range of goods for shopaholics, and plenty of vehicle displays and rides, many of them on vintage models.
Musical and dance performances included the Celebration Choir singing gospel and popular favourites, samba band Bateria Barulho de Cima, Morris dancers The Newtonian Royals and the UC Dance Crew demonstrating hip-hop moves.
Unfortunately the Tug o' War competition had to be cancelled due to the weather conditions, but will be rescheduled for a later date.
