A WEBSITE for children and young people was relaunched this week.

The 'Yaz' - or Youth Action Zone - website, which provides information and support for those aged from five to 17, went live yesterday (July 1).

The new website is a one-stop shop where young people, their families, and professionals working with the age group, can get information on topics from healthy eating and relationships, to education and employment.

A statement from St Helens Council said: "By only having to visit the one site, accessing support will be made much easier for young people."

Website users will be able to find out what's going on in the borough and how to get involved with the youth service, which runs activities and projects, with extra sessions available over the school holidays.

Councillor Sue Murphy, cabinet member for children, families and young people, said: "It's vital that we continue to support our children and young people."
