Volunteers sought to help disabled
KIND-HEARTED volunteers are wanted to support disabled adults in the town.
The Leonard Cheshire Disability organisation is looking to recruit people of all ages and backgrounds to offer help to 13 disabled adults living in a Supported Living Project.
Volunteers will help them with social aspects from having a chat over a cuppa to helping on group social outings. Available roles include befrienders, drivers, gardening, arts and crafts, readers and decorating.
No special skills are required and there is no fixed time for how long volunteers spend helping out.
