WE HAD a problem with rubbish lining some of the roads in Garswood.
Someone complained at a local council meeting, and about three months later St Helens Council cleaned it all up.
So please find out when and where your local council meets and go along with a few other people and register your complaints. It does work.
Before Christmas the Co-op wanted to build a store in Garswood – and the majority of people who went to the meeting about it raised objections.
I have been informed that the planning application has been withdrawn.
So give it a try. The next meeting in Garswood is on the March 11. I am going about two issues – recycling and the lack of an out-of-hours dog warden service.
So remember: please go to your local council meetings!
