Police at St Helens Bus Station following the collision
A 70-YEAR-OLD woman suffered head injuries when she was in collision with a bus at the town's station this afternoon.
Police confirmed the pedestrian was taken to Aintree Hospital where her condition was described as serious but stable.
She was conscious when being treated by paramedics following the incident, which happened at 12.20pm at the bus station on Bickerstaffe Street, St Helens.
