Body found in Carr Mill Dam
POLICE have confirmed that the body of a man in his 70s was found in Carr Mill Dam this afternoon.
At around 12.50pm emergency services were called to the scene with police, ambulance and fire services on site and the area was cordoned off following the discovery.
Detectives are currently treating the death as unexplained until a post-mortem has been conducted.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
